Ana Barbić Katičić is an academic painter from Zagreb, recognized for her versatile artistic expression and international successes. In addition to fine arts, in the field of painting, she was also educated in the field of law, which further shapes her worldview and artistic approach.
Her work primarily includes paintings, murals in various techniques, from painting to ceramics, and design. The works are imbued with a strong sensibility and attention to detail, and are often observations of everyday life that she transforms into a visual narrative. For her, art is not just a form, but a way of expressing thoughts and emotions and establishing a sincere connection with the observer.
She gained international recognition with the design of the trophy “The Best FIFA Football Awards”, which has been awarded every year since 2016 to the best in the world of football.
